Medical and Pharmacy Services for Jail Inmates

The Norfolk Sheriff's Office in Norfolk, Virginia, is seeking a qualified vendor to provide comprehensive medical and pharmacy services for jail inmates. The agency requires a partner to manage on-site medical services, including initial physical assessments, ongoing evaluation and treatment of medical conditions, stabilization of urgent and emergency medical or psychiatric conditions, and medication management. This initiative aims to ensure continuous, high-quality healthcare delivery within the correctional facility. The scope of work covers on-site specialty providers for optometry, podiatry, physical and occupational therapy, OB/GYN, and ENT services. The selected vendor must also deliver on-site dental services, including initial assessments, extractions, examinations, and emergency treatments, alongside on-site mental health care and telehealth services. While the performance of the work is designated as offsite, the vendor must facilitate these comprehensive on-site clinical operations. Eligibility is restricted to United States organizations only.
