The Lakeland, Florida government authority is seeking a legal services provider to deliver comprehensive legal advice, counsel, consultation, and opinions. The selected provider will deliver these services in-person, virtually, by telephone, via email, or in writing. The authority requires assistance with customary legal services, including seeking necessary opinions, letter rulings, or other documentation on legal matters to advise on prudent courses of action. The scope of work covers counseling and participating in real estate agreements, funding agreements, service agreements, easement agreements, ownership agreements, agreements for use, leases, and inter-local agreements. The provider will also counsel and participate in any other legal affairs of interest to the operations of the authority. All work must be performed offsite at the provider's own office location. Eligibility is restricted to United States organizations only. The authority is looking for proposals to determine the budget for this contract. A pre-proposal meeting is scheduled for June 25, 2026, and all questions regarding this opportunity must be submitted no later than July 9, 2026.
