Petroleum Storage Tank Corrosion Control and Painting Services

Sarasota County, Florida, is seeking a contractor to provide petroleum storage tank corrosion control and painting services for county-owned storage tank systems. The targeted systems contain petroleum products including gasoline, diesel fuel, diesel exhaust fluid, and motor oil. The designated contractor must remove excess corrosion and provide a viable solution path to mitigate and slow the spread of the corrosion. The county requires the selected vendor to perform all work offsite at the vendor's own office premises. Eligibility is strictly limited to onshore, United States-based organizations. The county is currently looking for proposals to determine the budget for this project. All clarifying questions regarding this procurement must be submitted to the county no later than June 19, 2026. The county will evaluate proposals based on the submitted solutions for corrosion control and painting.
