Construction Management Services

The government authority in Maple Ridge, British Columbia is seeking construction management services to oversee a series of facility and infrastructure developments. The agency needs to construct a new 12,170-square-foot building for operations, research, and multi-function space, which will be known as the Forestry Learning Centre. To support this new facility, the project requires extending municipal water and sanitary connections from Silver Valley Road, installing an onsite water pump integrated with the main water line, and constructing a 700-cubic-meter water storage tank with a dedicated pump for fire suppression and forest edge interface fires. The scope of work also encompasses several site preparation and relocation tasks. The agency requires the relocation of an existing caretaker's house, the relocation of an existing weather station, and the demolition of the current operations facility once the new Forestry Learning Centre is complete. Additionally, all rainwater must be managed entirely onsite as there is no storm water connection, and the agency desires to integrate wood harvested from the forest into the new building structure. Eligible bidders must be Canadian organizations. The agency expects the performance of the construction management work to occur offsite. The agency has not disclosed a fixed budget and is looking for financial proposals within the submissions. Bidders must submit all questions regarding this opportunity no later than June 19, 2026.
