The Chesterfield County government authority in South Carolina is seeking a qualified vendor to manage and deliver a high-quality health care program for the local Detention Center. The agency needs to solve the challenge of providing humane, consistent, and auditable medical care to inmates while maintaining a cooperative relationship with the facility administration and staff. The selected provider must implement a comprehensive written health care plan with clear objectives, policies, and procedures that meet established standards. The scope of work requires the provider to operate the health care program at agreed-upon staffing levels using only licensed, certified, and professionally trained personnel. Additionally, the provider must maintain complete and accurate records of care, collect and analyze health statistics on a regular basis, and ensure services are delivered offsite. The contract period for these services will be for one year. To be eligible for this opportunity, bidders must be onshore organizations based in the United States.
