Workers Compensation Third Party Administrator and Managed Care Service

The district is seeking a vendor to provide comprehensive workers' compensation third-party administration and managed-care cost containment services for its self-insured workers' compensation program. The district needs to solve the challenge of managing claims from first notice through final resolution, payment, or closure, while controlling medical costs and reducing litigation exposure. The selected partner will administer all claims, coordinate communications among involved parties, investigate potential fraud, and actively pursue subrogation and Second Injury Fund recoveries. The scope of work covers claims intake and administration, disability and return-to-work management, medical management, and litigation coordination. The district requires the utilization of electronic systems to support real-time claim access, financial administration, excess and regulatory reporting, and risk management information systems. Additionally, the service provider must deliver meaningful risk management reporting to support safety initiatives and provide advisory and support services. Eligible bidders must be onshore organizations based in the United States. The district requires the performance of all work to be conducted offsite. The contract period will span one year, and the district is currently looking for proposals to determine the budget.
