Property, Casualty and Workers Compensation Insurance Services

The County is seeking a qualified vendor to provide comprehensive property, casualty, and workers compensation insurance services. This procurement addresses the County's need for robust insurance coverage, claims administration, risk management, and related support services. The selected contractor will protect the County against financial losses while ensuring efficient claims processing and proactive risk mitigation. The scope of work covers workers' compensation coverage, including statutory benefits for self-insured members, employers' liability, and other states coverage. The contractor must deliver comprehensive claims handling and administration, which involves receiving, investigating, processing, and paying covered claims on behalf of the County. These claims services must utilize Davies as the identified Third-Party Administrator, or an equivalent approved entity. The property coverage must protect against physical loss or damage to buildings, structures, contents, and other real and personal property under an all-risk framework. This coverage must also span business interruption, construction-related exposures, debris removal, demolition, and off-premises utility interruptions. Additionally, the contractor must provide crime coverage for losses from theft, fraud, and embezzlement, alongside commercial general liability coverage for bodily injury, property damage, and legal defense. Loss control and risk management services represent another key requirement, which includes conducting inspections, audits, and verifications of property values. Eligibility is strictly limited to onshore organizations based in the United States. The contractor must perform all work offsite at their own office location. The County is currently looking for proposals to determine the budget and financial terms for these services.
