The Ohio government authority is seeking a qualified vendor to perform a comprehensive visual inspection of all accessible roof areas. The agency needs to identify the roof type, roofing material, approximate age, and general condition of the roofing materials. The selected inspector must document any evidence of wear, deterioration, weathering, aging, missing components, or physical damage from hail, wind, storm, and fire. The scope of work also requires the evaluation of the roof structure, flashings, penetrations, and drainage systems. The inspector must look for visible signs of sagging, structural distress, excessive loading, failed seals, and water intrusion. Additionally, the agency requires an assessment of gutters, downspouts, roof drains, scuppers, and any evidence of ponding water or drainage obstructions. Eligible bidders must be onshore organizations based in the United States. The agency requires the performance of the inspection work to be conducted onsite. Bidders must submit their proposals digitally via email or online, and the agency is currently open to receiving budget proposals.
