Underground Electrical Service Installation Services

The government authority in Warren, Michigan is seeking a contractor to provide complete, turnkey underground electrical service installation services. The agency needs to establish an underground electrical connection from the existing maintenance building electrical source to a park pavilion. This project aims to solve the lack of power at the pavilion by installing a reliable, weather-protected electrical feed. The scope of work covers the installation of underground electrical conduit and wiring along an approximate route length of 430 linear feet. The selected contractor must furnish and install all conduit, conductors, fittings, weatherproof junction boxes, pull boxes, grounding, and related appurtenances. Additionally, the project requires installing underground electrical circuits rated up to 20 Amp, 120/240 Volt service, installing PVC conduit risers into structures, and replacing weatherproof junction boxes as necessary. The contractor must perform all trenching, directional boring, hand digging, backfilling, restoration, and cleanup. The agency requires the contractor to coordinate utility locates prior to construction and protect all existing utilities and infrastructure. Although the physical installation takes place at the Warren park facility, the agency classifies the performance of the work as offsite. Only onshore organizations based in the United States are eligible to bid on this opportunity. Bidders must attend a mandatory on-site walkthrough scheduled for June 11, 2026.
