RFI for Financial Audit Services

The Elberton, Georgia government authority is seeking financial audit services for the Fiscal Year ending September 30, 2026. This Request for Information aims to identify a vendor to handle administrative and coordination matters, sufficiently plan the audit, and develop audit programs. The authority requires the selected vendor to follow up on past audit findings, evaluate internal controls over financial reporting, and evaluate compliance with laws and regulations. The scope of work covers conducting substantive test work and statement verification. The selected vendor must prepare an audit report, or separate reports, on the financial statements of Southeastern, internal control, and compliance, as well as a management letter. All performance of the work will take place offsite. Only onshore organizations based in the United States are eligible to participate in this opportunity. The authority is currently looking for proposals to determine the budget for these services. Interested parties must submit their responses digitally via email or online.
