Auditing Services

The City of Winter Springs, Florida requires professional auditing services for its municipal operations. The city operates on a fiscal year commencing on October 1st and ending on September 30th. The scope of the audit covers police services, construction and maintenance of infrastructure, city planning and zoning enforcement, supervised recreation programs, water utilities, and residential solid waste collection. The selected auditor must evaluate and report on the fair presentation of the financial statements as a whole in conformity with generally accepted accounting principles. The agency also requires a report on the internal control structure based on the auditor's understanding of the structure and assessment of control risk. All services must comply with the rules adopted by the State of Florida Auditor General for the form and content of local governmental entity audits. Bidders must be onshore organizations based in the United States. The agency requires the selected provider to perform all work offsite at the provider's own office location. The agency is currently looking for proposals to determine the budget for this project. Bidders must submit all questions regarding this opportunity no later than June 19, 2026.
