Technology Leadership and Operational Support Services

The District of Columbia government authority is seeking technology leadership and operational support services to ensure institutional operations continuity, adult learning success, and technology modernization. The agency is trying to solve challenges related to technology integration, cybersecurity resilience, instructional continuity, data system reliability, and long-term institutional viability. The requested services must be professional, reliable, responsive, secure, and scalable. The scope of work covers three main areas: Fractional Chief Technology Officer services, network engineering services, and Managed Service Provider/Network Service Provider services. The Fractional Chief Technology Officer will provide executive leadership for technology governance, cybersecurity oversight, enterprise systems coordination, operational planning, and technology management. The network engineering services cover technical support in network design, optimization, maintenance, modernization, and scalability of the enterprise network infrastructure. The Managed Service Provider/Network Service Provider services cover operational technology support, infrastructure monitoring, help desk support, maintenance, cybersecurity services, and continuity services. Eligible bidders must be onshore organizations based in the United States. The selected contractor must perform all work onsite at the agency location in Washington, DC. Bidders may submit proposals digitally via email or online, and the agency is looking for proposals to determine the budget. The agency is awarding a contract with a performance period of one year.
