Dental Anesthesia Services

The Abilene State Supported Living Center in Abilene, Texas, requires a qualified vendor to provide comprehensive dental anesthesia services and evaluations for its residents. The agency needs to ensure high-quality dental care for the residents' overall health starting on the very first day of the contract. This initiative solves the challenge of providing safe, on-site dental procedures for residents who require specialized sedation and anesthesia management. The scope of work covers the full spectrum of dental anesthesia procedures within the provider's scope of practice, including oral sedation and general anesthesia. The selected provider must deliver the appropriate type of anesthesia based on identified patient risks and offer on-facility services before and after surgery. Additionally, the provider must supply all necessary equipment, including monitors, drugs, intravenous materials, special nasal intubation tools, head props, and other disposables. The provider is also responsible for maintaining, cleaning, sterilizing, and performing preventive maintenance on all dental equipment. Eligibility is strictly limited to onshore, United States organizations. Although the agency requires on-facility services before and after surgery, the overall performance of the work is classified as offsite. The agency is looking for budget proposals from interested bidders, and submissions can be delivered digitally via email or online.
