Prisoner Transportation Services

The government authority located in Atlanta, Georgia is seeking a vendor to provide national prisoner transportation services. The agency requires these services on an as, if, and/or when requested basis to ensure the secure movement of prisoners across the country. To maintain safety and compliance, the agency mandates that transport times cannot exceed twenty-four hours without a rest stop, and transporters must take mandatory rest stops every eight hours. The scope of work requires the selected vendor to perform all transportation services onsite. The agency is limiting eligibility for this opportunity to onshore organizations based in the United States. The resulting contract will cover a performance period of one year. The agency is currently looking for proposals and has not disclosed a specific budget. Bidders must attend a pre-bid meeting scheduled for June 18, 2026. All questions regarding this opportunity must be submitted to the agency no later than June 26, 2026.
