ADA Paratransit Services

The Central Ohio Transit Authority in Columbus, Ohio is seeking a contractor to provide Americans with Disabilities Act paratransit services. The agency requires a transportation service, known as Mainstream, that operates comparably to its fixed-route service. Because the service area expands and diminishes based on the availability of fixed-route operations, the contractor must adapt to these changing service boundaries and hours across all seven days of the week. Drivers provided by the contractor must collect or verify valid fare media from each rider upon boarding the vehicles. The agency requires daily fare reporting from each vehicle, which must count and subtotal the number of tickets, passes, non-payments, cash, and other assigned fare media. The selected contractor must perform all work onsite in the United States, as the agency limits eligibility to onshore providers. The agency is establishing a contract period of one year. Bidders must submit all questions regarding this opportunity no later than June 22, 2026.
