Building Plan Review and Inspection Services

The City of West Jordan, Utah is seeking a qualified vendor to provide comprehensive building plan review and inspection services. The agency requires these services to ensure that residential buildings, commercial buildings, solar installations, and other structures conform to adopted technical standards and model building codes. The selected partner will also handle complaint investigations, hazardous building inspections, and assist with the prosecution of building code and hazardous building violations. The scope of work demands that the consultant maintain sufficient staff to complete plan reviews within ten business days of submittal. Additionally, the provider must deliver onsite inspection services within forty-eight hours of a request. The agency is establishing a contract period that will run for five years.
