Building Plan Review and Inspection Services

The City of West Jordan, Utah is seeking a qualified vendor to provide comprehensive building plan review and inspection services. The agency requires these services to ensure that residential buildings, commercial buildings, solar installations, and other structures conform to adopted technical standards and model building codes. The selected consultant will also handle complaint investigations, hazardous building inspections, and assistance with the prosecution of building code and hazardous building violations. The agency requires the consultant to maintain sufficient staffing to complete any submitted plan review within ten business days. Additionally, the consultant must perform requested inspection services within forty-eight hours of the initial request. All work under this contract must be performed onsite at the designated locations within the municipality. Eligibility is strictly limited to organizations based in the United States. The agency is establishing a contract period that will span five years. While the agency has not disclosed a specific budget and is looking for proposals to determine costs, all clarifying questions regarding this opportunity must be submitted no later than July 7, 2026.
