Audit Services

The Victoria County Navigation District in Victoria, Texas is seeking a qualified vendor to perform comprehensive financial audit services. The agency requires an independent audit to obtain reasonable assurance about whether its basic financial statements are free of material misstatement. The selected auditor must examine supporting evidence on a test basis and express professional opinions on the fair presentation of the basic financial statements, as well as the combining and individual fund financial statements and schedules, in conformity with generally accepted accounting principles. The scope of work requires the auditor to perform limited procedures on required supplementary information as mandated by generally accepted auditing standards. All project work must take place onsite at the agency offices in Victoria, Texas. Eligible bidders must be onshore organizations based entirely within the United States. The agency is currently seeking proposals to determine the budget and cost for these services. Interested bidders may attend a non-mandatory pre-bid meeting scheduled for June 15, 2026. The agency will evaluate proposals based on the bidder's ability to plan and execute the audit in accordance with generally accepted auditing standards.
