Internal Audit Services

The State Office of Administrative Hearings in Austin, Texas, is seeking a qualified United States-based organization to provide comprehensive internal audit services. The agency requires these services to evaluate and improve its accounting systems, administrative systems, and internal controls. The selected provider will report directly to the Chief Administrative Law Judge on all internal audit matters and manage day-to-day operations related to the audit services. The scope of work requires the development of an annual audit plan prepared using risk assessment techniques to identify individual audits for the year. The agency is also appointing an internal auditor through this contract to provide direction and approval for all internal audit activities. The chosen provider must meet all statutory deadlines regarding internal audit activities and reports, noting that some report due dates may be contingent. The agency is issuing this contract for a one-year period, and the performance of all work will take place offsite. Eligible bidders must be onshore United States organizations.
