Moving Services

The government authority in New Jersey is seeking a contractor to provide moving services for its offices. The agency cannot anticipate the exact number of moves each year and reserves the right to add or delete offices from the schedule. The selected contractor must perform the work offsite at the designated New Jersey locations. The scope of work requires the contractor to provide packing services and supply legal-size commercial tote cartons measuring at least 22.5 inches by 15 inches by 12 inches with a minimum test rating of 200 pounds. The contractor must deliver these cartons to the move location or another specified site at no additional cost. The contractor must also tag and mark furniture and equipment to match the agency floor plan, supply adhesive commercial moving labels in various color codes, assist in preparing a numbering plan, and hang temporary room placards in advance of each move. To protect the facilities, the contractor must use amazonite on the floors and Corro flex furniture pads on the walls, doors, and elevators. The contractor must also provide appropriate personnel at no additional cost to move exceptionally heavy items, such as safes. Eligibility is limited to onshore United States organizations. The contract period will span one year, and the agency is currently looking for budget proposals. Bidders must submit all questions regarding this opportunity no later than July 7, 2026.
