Prisoner Transportation Services

The government authority located in Atlanta, Georgia is seeking a vendor to provide national prisoner transportation services. The agency requires these services on an as, if, and/or when requested basis to ensure the secure movement of prisoners across the country. To maintain safety and compliance, the agency mandates that transport times must not exceed twenty-four hours without a rest stop, and transporters must take mandatory rest stops every eight hours. The scope of work requires the selected vendor to perform all transportation services onsite. The agency is limiting eligibility for this contract to onshore organizations based in the United States. The agency is looking for proposals to establish the budget for a contract period that will run for one year. The agency will hold a pre-bid meeting on June 18, 2026, to discuss the project requirements with interested parties. Bidders must submit all questions regarding this opportunity no later than June 26, 2026. The agency will evaluate proposals based on the submitted bids to select the provider for this one-year service agreement.
