Leadership and Employment Transition Services

The government authority located in Norfolk, Virginia is seeking a contractor to provide leadership and employment transition services. The agency is trying to solve the career integration challenges faced by military-affiliated individuals, including veterans, military spouses, military dependents, and transitioning service members. To address this, the agency requires a supplemental leadership development program that strengthens professional skills, supports career-building, and focuses on employment transition, workforce readiness, and retention in the civilian workforce. The scope of work covers the development and delivery of a leadership program built on an understanding of the military industry, its specific challenges, and its pitfalls. The contractor must design individualized leadership development plans for each participant and distribute all associated training content and workshop materials. The program must incorporate practical techniques for resume development, networking, interview skills, and the identification of transferable hard and soft skills. Eligible bidders must be onshore United States organizations. The agency allows the performance of the work to occur either onsite or offsite. The contract period will span five years.
