Traffic Study Services

The Borough of New Hope, Pennsylvania, is seeking traffic study services to assess and verify traffic signal equipment and operational conditions. The borough requires field investigations and observations to evaluate the types, locations, placements, and conditions of traffic-related signage. Additionally, the selected provider must observe traffic and pedestrian signal operations, vehicle and pedestrian response times, and movement patterns. The scope of work covers field investigations and observations on traffic and pedestrian flow, along with traffic data collection. This data collection includes the potential use of automatic traffic recorders and turning movement counts. The borough requires a technical analysis of the collected data, which must include volume, speed, and vehicle classification summaries. Eligible bidders must be onshore organizations based in the United States. The borough allows the performance of the work to be conducted offsite. Bidders must submit their responses digitally via email or online, and the borough is looking for proposals to determine the budget. Bidders must submit all questions no later than July 27, 2026.
