The Central Vermont Solid Waste Management District, a government authority located in Berlin, Vermont, is seeking a qualified United States-based vendor to provide professional audit services for its financial statements. The initial contract covers the fiscal year ending June 30, 2026, with the agency retaining the option to extend services for each of the two subsequent fiscal years. The selected auditor must perform all work offsite at the vendor's own office location. The scope of work requires the auditor to hold an exit conference meeting with the agency General Manager and designated staff to review draft audit reports and incorporate necessary edits before final issuance. Following this conference, the auditor must meet with the agency Board of Supervisors, or a designated committee, to discuss the final audit results and explain any findings detailed in the auditor’s management letter. Eligibility is strictly limited to onshore organizations based in the United States. The agency has not disclosed a specific budget and is looking for proposals to determine the cost of services. Bidders must submit all questions regarding this opportunity no later than June 15, 2026.
