Transportation Services for Juvenile Detention Shelter

The Dauphin County government authority in Pennsylvania is seeking a vendor to provide 24-hour, 7-day-a-week transportation services for juveniles to a detention shelter. The agency requires on-demand dispatch within 90 minutes of a request from various pick-up sites both inside and outside the county. The scope of work also includes routine, scheduled transportation for detention hearings, status conferences, and other appointments. The transportation services cover trips to detention and shelter facilities located outside the county. The agency specifies two distance categories for these trips, which include transports under 75 miles and transports between 141 and 200 miles per trip. As a general rule, the primary pickup location is the Dauphin County Judicial Center in the township. Eligibility is restricted to onshore organizations based in the United States. The agency requires the administration of the work to be performed offsite at the vendor's office location.
