Commercial Demolition Services

The Summit County Land Reutilization Corporation in Akron, Ohio is seeking a contractor to provide commercial demolition services. The agency requires the selected vendor to perform demolition work onsite during normal business hours, specifically Monday through Friday between 7:00 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. To prevent safety hazards over weekends, the agency prohibits starting any demolition on a Friday that cannot be completed within a single day. The scope of work includes preparing, reviewing, recommending, coordinating, monitoring, and processing change orders and related documentation. The contractor must eliminate unnecessary hazards before leaving the jobsite each day and must mark hazards like missing sidewalks and demolition debris with yellow caution tape. Eligibility is restricted to onshore organizations based in the United States. The agency is looking for proposals to determine the budget and has not disclosed a pre-set funding limit. A non-mandatory pre-bid meeting will take place on June 16, 2026, and bidders must submit all questions regarding the opportunity no later than June 17, 2026.
