Special Education Services

The Fauquier County Public Schools in Warrenton, Virginia, require a single comprehensive private service provider, or multiple service providers, to deliver in-person special education services. The agency is seeking to solve staffing shortages by securing coverage when employed staff are absent on a short-term or long-term basis, or when there are active staffing vacancies. All requested services must be performed strictly in-person and onsite, as virtual delivery is not permitted. The scope of work covers occupational therapy, physical therapy, speech therapy, and registered nurse services, which includes operating a school clinic area. The selected providers must also deliver psychological evaluation services, specifically ability and achievement testing for Individuals with Disabilities Education Act eligibility determination and educational planning. Additionally, the agency requires behavior specialists, teachers of the visually impaired, teachers of the deaf or hard of hearing, and special education teachers. Eligible bidders must be onshore organizations based in the United States. The agency is looking for budget proposals within the submitted bids rather than providing a pre-determined budget limit.
