Commissioning Services

The City of Longmont, Colorado, is seeking a third-party commissioning agent to support the development of new educational and training facilities. The agency requires a vendor to oversee design review and planning, construction phase verification, testing and performance validation, and final commissioning and acceptance. These facilities will support advanced manufacturing, optics and photonics, mechatronics, machining, engineering technology, automation, and customized industry training programs. The project aims to solve the regional need for accessible, affordable, and high-quality educational opportunities that respond directly to evolving workforce and community demands. The scope of work covers the commissioning of facilities designed to maximize connectivity with regional transit, community amenities, and future innovation district development. The physical site includes outdoor gathering and learning spaces, a central campus commons, green space, and bicycle and pedestrian circulation infrastructure. Eligibility is restricted to onshore organizations based in the United States. The selected vendor must perform all work onsite at the project location in Longmont, Colorado. The agency is currently looking for proposals to establish the budget for these services, and bidders must submit all questions regarding this opportunity no later than June 11, 2026.
