Training and Work Experience Stipends Services

The Dane County government authority located in Madison, Wisconsin is seeking a vendor to provide training and work experience stipends services to job seekers. The agency is attempting to increase the likelihood of participants successfully completing short-term vocational training or work experience and ultimately obtaining employment. To solve this problem, the agency requires a system that tracks participation, administers payroll, and develops and maintains work experience sites. The scope of work requires the selected vendor to create a stipend schedule and an eligibility process. This process must ensure that benefits are paid based on need, relate to probable long-term, full-time employment, and are not offered more than once to the same individual. The agency requires the vendor to demonstrate the capacity to serve eligible county residents countywide, including individuals residing outside of the city of Madison, through accessible intake, communication, and payment processes. Eligible bidders must perform all work onsite within the United States. The agency has not disclosed a specific budget and is looking for proposals to define the cost.
