RFI for Personal Dosimetry Services

The United States Department of Agriculture, located in Fort Collins, Colorado, is seeking information to determine industry capability and interest, validate technical requirements, identify small and other than small business capabilities, and refine its acquisition strategy for personal dosimetry services. The agency requires National Voluntary Laboratory Accreditation Program approved whole-body or extremity dosimeters utilizing optically stimulated luminescence or alternate government-approved technology. These dosimeters must be suitable for personnel working in varied radiation environments. The scope of work includes providing monthly or quarterly shipments of dosimeters, supplying prepaid return labels, and maintaining full historical dose-data. The selected provider must track, read, analyze, and report exposure data, and maintain legally compliant lifetime exposure records. The agency also requires secure, twenty-four-seven online portal access for account and dosimeter data management, with export capabilities in Excel, CSV, and PDF formats. The provider must deliver Nuclear Regulatory Commission compliant dose reports within thirty days of receiving returned dosimeters. Additionally, the agency requires technical support for its radiation safety personnel and customer service for account management, billing, reporting, and device issues. Eligible respondents must be onshore United States organizations. The performance of the work will occur offsite at the provider's office location. The agency is currently looking for proposals to establish budget expectations and has not disclosed specific key dates or evaluation criteria in this request for information.
