Construction Management Service

The government authority located in Portland, Oregon is seeking construction management services to coordinate and manage the construction process as an independent contractor. The selected provider will collaborate with the agency and the design team throughout both the preconstruction and construction phases of the project. The agency needs to solve challenges related to planning, design, and managing construction activities within an occupied and operational site, which may include potential park closures. The scope of work covers project partnership establishment and scoping, which includes touring the site, affirming project goals, and establishing a team communication plan. The provider must perform risk assessments to identify cost and schedule risks, offer value engineering recommendations, and study labor and material conditions to develop procurement strategies. Additionally, the agency requires the development of construction management plans, construction schedules, and cost estimates with reconciliation at key milestones. Eligible bidders must be onshore organizations based in the United States. The performance of all contracted work must take place onsite at the project location. The agency is currently looking for proposals to determine the budget and has scheduled a pre-bid meeting for June 18, 2026.
