The Corporation of the County of Simcoe, located in Midhurst, Ontario, is seeking competitive proposals from highly qualified employee group benefits providers. The agency requires the provision of group life, Employee Family Assistance Program, short-term disability, accidental death and dismemberment, and long-term disability insurance services. The agency also requires extended health care and dental benefits to be provided on an Administrative Services Only basis. The agency is attempting to test the competitiveness of its current financial arrangements and ensure the acquisition of the best quality in service, technology, and value. The project aims to investigate the feasibility of additional cost savings and rate stability through extended rate guarantees while improving long-term service levels. Additionally, the agency wants to ensure the utilization of advancing claims adjudication practices related to fraud management and leverage new technology for plan management administration and member services. The contract period will span one year, and the performance of the work will take place offsite. Only onshore bidders located in Canada are eligible to participate in this procurement.
