Taxi Service

The City of Laguna Hills, California, is seeking a qualified vendor to provide a comprehensive taxi service program. The program must be both demand-responsive and allow for advanced pre-scheduled reservations. The service area covers the city limits of Laguna Hills, Aliso Viejo, Irvine, Laguna Niguel, Lake Forest, Mission Viejo, and Laguna Woods. The agency requires transportation to any destination point for shopping, errands, social or recreational activities, and personal business within the designated service area, as stipulated in the city’s Orange County Transportation Authority agency service plan. The selected contractor must provide reservation and taxi services twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week, including holidays. Additionally, drivers must complete incident reports after any out-of-the-ordinary occurrence during service. Eligibility is restricted to onshore, United States-based organizations only. The contractor will perform administrative work offsite at their own office location. The agency is currently looking for proposals to determine the budget, and all questions regarding this opportunity must be submitted no later than June 12, 2026.
