Translation and Transcription Services

The issuing agency is seeking comprehensive language access services across its public health programs to ensure meaningful access to health services and information for all residents, including individuals with Limited English Proficiency and the deaf or hard of hearing community. The agency needs to solve communication barriers by securing onsite and remote interpretation, American Sign Language services, and multilingual document translation. The scope of work covers onsite interpretation in community, legal, and simultaneous settings with a two-hour minimum per engagement in languages such as Spanish, Arabic, Chinese, Vietnamese, and American Sign Language. The selected contractor must provide remote interpretation services, which include twenty-four-hour, seven-day-a-week, year-round over-the-phone interpreting for on-demand and pre-scheduled sessions, as well as video remote interpreting available on-demand or by appointment. The agency requires secure, user-friendly real-time interpretation platforms, data analytics capabilities, and flexible service availability, including after-hours and emergency coverage. Document translation services must deliver accurate, culturally appropriate, and professionally formatted translations between English and a wide range of target languages, utilizing technology for consistency and terminology management. Project management requirements include effective project coordination, file preparation, appropriate team assignments, timeline monitoring, and final quality assurance reviews, with rush and after-hours translation services available. Only onshore organizations based in the United States are eligible to bid on this opportunity. Performance of the work will take place both offsite and onsite, and the agency is accepting digital proposal submissions via email or online. The agency is currently looking for proposals to establish the budget, and all questions regarding this opportunity must be submitted no later than June 23, 2026.
