Transportation and Traffic Engineering Services

The Town of Fort Mill, South Carolina is seeking a trusted professional partner to assist with planning, evaluating, designing, permitting, and implementing transportation improvements and traffic management initiatives. The municipality requires a firm with demonstrated expertise in transportation planning, traffic engineering, roadway design, traffic signal systems, adaptive traffic control systems, grant support, and construction-phase services. This partnership aims to solve local infrastructure challenges through comprehensive engineering and planning support. The scope of work covers surveying services, roadway design, and traffic engineering planning, analysis, and design. The selected partner must also perform subsurface utility engineering, right-of-way acquisition support, permitting and agency coordination, construction support services, and transportation planning and grant assistance. All performance of the work will take place offsite. Eligible bidders must be onshore organizations based in the United States. The Town has not disclosed a set budget and is looking for proposals to determine the cost of services. A non-mandatory pre-bid meeting will take place on June 24, 2026.
