Construction Management and Construction Support Services

The Hawaii State Harbors Division is seeking construction management and construction support services to supplement its engineering construction staff. The agency needs qualified personnel to properly administer various construction projects on an as-required work order basis. This support is necessary to ensure adequate oversight, inspection, and management of state harbor construction initiatives. The requested scope of work covers the provision of construction managers, project engineers, field engineers, field construction inspectors, field clerks, and schedulers. Construction managers must possess the supervisory skills to manage project engineers, field engineers, and construction inspectors, and they must be capable of performing inspector duties when required. Project engineers must also be capable of performing construction inspector duties and must have the supervisory skills to manage field engineers and construction inspectors. Only onshore organizations based in the United States are eligible to bid on this opportunity. The agency requires the selected personnel to perform all work onsite in Hawaii. The agency is currently looking for proposals to determine the budget and has not disclosed a pre-set funding limit or specific evaluation criteria in the initial announcement.
