Student Mental Health Teletherapy and Behavioural Support Services

The Gallup-McKinley County Schools district in Gallup, New Mexico, requires comprehensive student mental health teletherapy and behavioural support services to promote student wellness, resilience, engagement, and academic readiness. The agency is attempting to solve the problem of limited access to mental health resources by providing virtual therapeutic services designed to support the emotional well-being and academic success of students across the district. The scope of work covers virtual individual counselling sessions for referred students using secure telehealth technology, virtual group counselling sessions when appropriate and approved by the district, and matching students with therapists based on identified student needs, age appropriateness, and service availability. The selected contractor must support the development of coping strategies, resilience, self-advocacy, and social-emotional skills using evidence-based therapeutic practices appropriate for school-aged students. The provider must also coordinate with district counselling staff, student success advisors, administrators, and other authorized support personnel to ensure academic and student success. Although the services are virtual, the agency requires the performance of the work to be onsite, and eligible bidders must be located onshore within the United States. The agency is looking for proposals to determine the budget for this project, and the resulting contract will have a duration of one year.
