Workers’ Compensation Services

The issuing agency is seeking a vendor to provide workers' compensation claims and cost containment services. The project covers all claims activities on or after July 1, 2027, for all claims incurred July 1, 1986, and later. The agency also requires oversight and management of claims services on an as-needed basis for a small quantity of claims prior to this date period. The selected contractor must oversee and manage employees and subcontractors to provide claims administration services with specific delegated authorities to be negotiated. Requested services include program administrative support, a short term disability and long term disability coordinator, paralegal services, and medical preferred provider bill review. The scope also encompasses utilization review, a discount prescription drug, supplies, and apparatus program, surveillance, field investigation, and an online claim reporting intake proprietary program. The agency requires two dedicated loss control and safety staff to provide consulting and training services, payroll classification audits, field medical and vocational placement, and telephonic nurse consulting. Surveillance, payroll classification audits, field investigations, agency services, and other special claims or loss control services, such as industrial hygienist services, may be priced on a per-service, per-hour, or per-item basis. The contract period will span three years. Eligible bidders must perform all work offsite within the United States. The agency is looking for proposals to determine the budget and has not provided a specific funding limit. A pre-bid meeting will take place on June 22, 2026. Bidders must submit all questions no later than June 25, 2026.
