Construction Management and Construction Support Services

The State of Hawaii Department of Transportation Harbors Division is seeking construction management and construction support services to supplement its existing engineering staff. The agency needs qualified personnel on an as-required work order basis to properly administer various construction projects. This support will help the agency manage its construction workload and ensure proper oversight of harbor infrastructure projects. The scope of work covers providing construction managers, project engineers, field engineers, field construction inspectors, field clerks, and schedulers. Construction managers must possess the supervisory skills necessary to manage project engineers, field engineers, and construction inspectors, and they must be capable of performing inspector duties when required. Project engineers must also possess the skills to manage field engineers and construction inspectors, with the capability to step into the construction inspector role as needed. Eligible bidders must be onshore organizations based in the United States. The selected personnel must perform all work onsite at the designated government authority locations in Hawaii. The agency is currently looking for proposals to determine the budget and has not disclosed a pre-set funding limit or specific key dates in the initial solicitation details.
