Family Investment Program employment services

Olmsted County in Rochester, Minnesota is seeking a vendor to provide Family Investment Program employment services. The agency needs to improve the employment skills and long-term financial stability of program participants by helping them attain positions that pay livable wages and provide health care coverage. The agency aims to increase the number of participants working, participating in education or training, and successfully leaving the program due to increased earned income. The scope of work requires the provider to accept participant referrals within four business days of receiving a Workforce One referral and engage participants in employment activities immediately. The provider must develop employment plans with incremental steps, offer job search resources like resume building and online application tools, and deliver career planning and coaching. Additionally, the provider must offer resources to remove barriers, provide financial empowerment training, and conduct follow-up activities to support job retention and career advancement. Eligible bidders must be onshore organizations located within the United States. The selected vendor must perform the work offsite and carry out the services within their own office location.
