Hospitalist Service

The Colfax County General Hospital, a critical access hospital in rural Raton, New Mexico, is seeking a vendor to provide on-site hospitalist services. The agency needs to solve the challenge of managing all in-hospital acute patients continuously in a rural setting. To address this, the agency requires a vendor to ensure continuous twenty-four-hour coverage, seven days per week, which may include two full-time equivalent hospitalists. The scope of work covers emergent admissions, patient management leadership, clinical inquiries, and daily operational management through hospitalist-led multidisciplinary rounds. The selected provider must manage patient hospital admissions regardless of the status level of care and provide swing bed consultations and follow-up care, including admission orders and weekly certification of skilled needs. Additionally, the agency requires real-time electronic documentation, integrated care coordination with appropriate resource utilization, and the development of specialist consultation protocols. Eligible bidders must be onshore organizations based in the United States of America. All performance of the work must take place on-site at the agency facility in Raton, New Mexico. The agency is looking for proposals to determine the budget and will accept bid responses digitally via email or online.
