Various East Side Streets Resurfacing Project Service

The City of Elgin, Illinois is seeking a contractor to perform resurfacing services for various streets on the east side of the municipality. The project spans approximately 18,750 linear feet and addresses the degradation of local roadway infrastructure. The selected vendor must furnish all labor, materials, equipment, and related items necessary to complete the specified street improvements. The scope of work requires approximately 153 square yards of hot-mix asphalt patching, 60,081 square yards of hot-mix asphalt milling, and 2,966 tons of hot-mix asphalt binder course. Additionally, the project covers 7,523 tons of hot-mix asphalt surface course, 32,322 pounds of tack coat, and 1,147 square yards each of topsoil placement and salt-tolerant sodding. The agency is establishing a contract period of one year to complete these deliverables. Eligible bidders must be onshore entities based in the United States, and all contracted work must be performed onsite in Elgin. The agency has not disclosed a specific budget and is looking for cost proposals from interested parties. Bidders must submit all clarification questions regarding this opportunity no later than June 22, 2026.
