The government authority located in Annapolis, Maryland is seeking comprehensive materials for teaching elementary (K-5) science classes and a STEM enrichment class. The agency requires a curriculum aligned to Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS) three-dimensional learning, which incorporates science and engineering practices, crosscutting concepts, disciplinary core ideas, and corresponding performance expectations into each unit. The requested materials must provide a student-centered learning approach grounded in sensemaking and culturally responsive pedagogy. Students will engage with life science, physical science, earth-space science, and engineering design through three-dimensional learning with grade-level appropriate experiences. The scope of work includes a curriculum map and overview containing explicit directions for implementing structural components and a learning progression of instructional standards for previous, current, and future grade instruction. The agency also requires research-based instructional strategies for academically diverse learners embedded into the core curriculum, alongside professional learning resources to help teachers implement the program and deepen their content knowledge. Bidders must be onshore United States organizations to be eligible for this opportunity. The selected contractor will perform all work offsite over a contract period of six years.
