The Denton State Supported Living Center in Denton, Texas, requires on-call counseling services to support its patients. The agency needs to ensure immediate, qualified mental health intervention and ongoing therapeutic support for individuals with developmental disabilities. This service is critical for protecting patients from the risk of harm during emergencies and maintaining their overall psychological well-being. The scope of work covers usual and customary counseling, therapy, psychotherapy, and mental health assessments for all referred patients on an as-needed basis. The selected provider must handle standard service calls as well as emergency calls, remaining available twenty-four hours per day, seven days per week, including holidays and weekends. Emergency situations require an on-site or active response time of forty-five minutes or less from the time of the call. Eligible bidders must be United States organizations and must utilize Licensed Professional Counselors who possess documented experience working with persons with developmental disabilities. While the agency specifies that the performance of the work will be offsite, the provider must still meet the strict forty-five-minute emergency response window for the Denton facility.
