Various East Side Streets Resurfacing Project Service

The City of Elgin, Illinois is seeking a contractor to perform resurfacing services for various streets on the east side of the municipality. The project spans approximately 18,750 linear feet and addresses the need for comprehensive roadway maintenance and pavement restoration. The agency requires the selected provider to furnish all labor, materials, equipment, and related items necessary to complete the infrastructure improvements. The scope of work covers approximately 153 square yards of hot-mix asphalt patching, 60,081 square yards of hot-mix asphalt milling, and 2,966 tons of hot-mix asphalt binder course. Additionally, the project requires 7,523 tons of hot-mix asphalt surface course, 1,147 square yards of topsoil placement, 1,147 square yards of salt-tolerant sodding, and 32,322 pounds of tack coat. The agency expects the performance of all contracted work to take place onsite over a one-year contract period. Eligible bidders must operate onshore within the United States. The agency is requesting pricing proposals to establish the budget for this project. Bidders must submit all questions regarding this opportunity no later than June 22, 2026.
