A government authority in Las Vegas, Nevada is seeking professional design services to address site assessment, environmental planning, and engineering design needs for a local project. The authority requires an initial assessment of existing conditions, which must include a topographic and boundary survey alongside hydrologic and geomorphic mapping of the river, floodplain, groundwater, and springheads. Geotechnical engineering tasks involve conducting a subsurface investigation with borings or test pits, classifying soil, analyzing engineering properties, and evaluating groundwater levels. The selected provider must manage environmental planning and compliance by preparing all necessary supporting documentation. For floodplain and hydrologic compliance, the scope covers hydraulic and hydrologic modeling while incorporating springhead protection and groundwater sensitivity considerations. The conceptual design phase requires the development of multiple design alternatives capable of accommodating fifteen to twenty-five people, specifically focusing on tower location, height, and orientation, as well as trail alignments and bird loop systems. The authority requires an evaluation of environmental impacts for each conceptual alternative to inform the subsequent schematic design phase, which must include a refined site layout and preliminary grading and drainage concepts. The final phase demands detailed design and engineering services focused on landscape architecture and environmental design. All performance of the work must take place onsite, and eligibility is restricted to onshore USA organizations.
