The government authority in Los Angeles, California is seeking a vendor to provide comprehensive accounting services. To solve this reconciliation problem, the selected vendor must identify, support, and document all necessary adjusting journal entries required to effect the conversion. The scope of work covers presenting final adjusted governmental fund balances and preparing conversion entries as required for financial reporting. The agency also requires general accounting advice on an as-needed basis. This advisory scope includes providing guidance on routine and complex governmental accounting transactions, journal entries, year-end adjusting entries, and accruals. Eligible bidders must be onshore organizations based in the United States. The agency requires all performance of the work to take place onsite at the authority's location in Los Angeles. The resulting contract will span a period of two years. The agency is currently looking for proposals to determine the budget for this project.
