The County of San Luis Obispo, California, is seeking a vendor to provide Functional Family Therapy services to youth and their families. The agency is attempting to address behavioral and emotional problems in youth aged eleven to eighteen who have been referred by the County. The selected provider must implement all aspects of the Functional Family Therapy program, which is a short-term, strength-based intervention model built on acceptance and respect. The scope of work requires the provider to manage all staffing, training, supervision, and fidelity monitoring for the program. The provider must deliver all services face-to-face at times and locations convenient to the families, including evenings and weekends. Therapists must conduct face-to-face meetings with the family and youth for at least one and a half hours per week, with an additional thirty minutes for phone and collateral contact, and another thirty minutes for assessment and case planning. The provider must also engage directly with the Functional Family Therapy organization for ongoing consultation, supervision, and training. Only organizations based in the United States are eligible to bid on this opportunity. The agency requires the performance of the work to be conducted offsite. The agency has not disclosed a specific budget and is looking for proposals to define the cost. Bidders must submit all questions regarding this opportunity no later than July 1, 2026.
