Construction Trade Labor Service

The Connecticut-based government authority is seeking a vendor to provide construction trade labor services for the renovation and refurbishment of university facilities under its academic renovations program. The agency needs to solve the problem of securing skilled tradespersons to perform tasks for individual work orders requiring construction and renovation work. The scope of work covers the layout and framing of walls, wallboard installation, acoustical ceiling installations, and the installation of doors, windows, and related hardware. Additionally, the selected vendor must handle the installation of laboratory casework and work surfaces, masonry, flooring preparation and installation, drywall finishing, and painting. The agency allows the vendor to provide these skilled tradespersons through either in-house personnel or subcontractors. Eligible bidders must be onshore organizations based in the United States. The performance of all requested work must take place onsite at the university facilities. The agency is currently looking for proposals to determine the budget for this project. Bidders must submit all questions regarding this opportunity no later than June 26, 2026.
