CDL Training Services

The Hudson Valley Community College in Troy, New York, is seeking a vendor to provide comprehensive Commercial Driver's License (CDL) training services and student recruitment data services. The college administers degree and certificate programs across three schools and the Educational Opportunity Center, and now requires training programs for an estimated twelve to fifteen registering students. The training programs must cover CDL Class B Entry-Level Driver Training, CDL Class B Passenger Program, CDL Class B Passenger and School Bus Program, and CDL Class A Automatic Tractor Trailer Basic Program. The selected vendor must provide all necessary theory and tele-delivery materials, instructional and support personnel, and administrative services. These administrative duties include coordinating drug screen physicals, testing, skills testing, and issuing certificates of completion. The agency also requires the facilitation of CDL testing and state licensing through State authorities, alongside job placement services such as Motor Vehicle Record screening and securing pre-employment offers from partner carriers. Eligible bidders must be onshore organizations based in the United States. The agency requires all performance of the work to be conducted offsite. The agency has not disclosed a set budget and is seeking pricing proposals from interested bidders.
